The Yoruba Social and Cultural Association of BC is proud to invite you to our Summer 2025 Vocational Skills Workshop—a hands-on training program designed to empower individuals with practical, creative, and income-generating skills.
Participants will receive guided training in:
- Hair Styling (Weaving & Braiding)
- Barbing
- Photography
- Sewing
Whether you're exploring a new career path or enhancing your talents, this workshop is your step toward self-employment, entrepreneurship, and increased confidence and creativity.

About the Organization:
The Yoruba Social and Cultural Association of BC is a Black-led non-profit founded in 1998. We advocate for and implement programs that promote social inclusion, cultural awareness, and economic prosperity for individuals of African descent, immigrant groups, and the broader Canadian community.
